Manager CFO Advisory

Job Function

As a Manager, you will be an integral part of a growing practice You will manage client engagements related to valuations, review the work of team members, and engage in face-to-face discussions with our clients’ CFOs, CEOs, and other senior management about their business.

Professional Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver business and intangible asset valuations for financial reporting, derivative valuations, tax and regulatory compliance, and management planning purposes
  • Perform business valuations on interesting start-up companies, public companies
  • Develop strong client relationships to retain and expand the services that we provide to our clients
  • Perform SAS 73 reviews of third-party appraisals for audit support purposes
  • Manage multiple projects at a time, and coordinate appropriate staff
  • Supervise and mentor staff; provide timely and effective performance feedback and training
  • Ensure quality control standards are met
  • Contribute to team environment and a positive culture

Personal Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business or accounting
  • Minimum of five years of valuation experience within a business valuation firm
  • Prior experience dealing with and interacting with external reviews (auditors, IRS, etc.)
  • Strong client communication skills
  • Good report writing skills, financial modeling skills, the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Relevant valuation designation(s)
  • Ability to develop external relationships (networking, referral sources, etc.) and bring new clients into the business
  • Strong client management, consulting, communication, and leadership skills managing expectations and delivering high quality solutions on-time within scope and budget
